Job openings are first offered to residents of surrounding villages, then to candidates from the Northern region, before any national or international recruitment. Local skills are given priority at equal level.

An annual local purchasing plan sets spending targets with Burkinabe contractors. Néré Mining systematically favours national suppliers for routine goods and services.
Néré Mining supports Burkinabe SMEs and entrepreneurs wishing to supply goods and services to the mine, from technical upgrading to market access.
